The evaluation process is an integral part of the tutoring process. Listed below are the steps that I take with each of my students to ensure their success, and infuse the value of hard work into their lives.
Step 1: Collect data from the child’s parents and teachers
Step 2: Meet with the student to identify their strengths, problem areas, and learning styles
Step 3: Establish goals for the student to work towards during the tutoring sessions
Step 4: Make recommendations for the frequency and length of each session
Step 5: Discuss good study habits at home to maximize learning
